Bowling Green, OH — November 17, 2006 —

TheHeroZone.com is your source for current comics, back issues, toys, gaming and more. The Hero Zone is operated by Rocco Mazza and The Gamers Lounge, located in Bowling Green, OH. The Gamers Lounge is a small network of stores that focus on online and collectible gaming. We do not open a store unless we have a passion for the products we carry. With each store we operate, our goal is to provide you with only the best of customer service, fast shipping and reasonable prices. Some of the ways we try to accomplish that are:

  • Same Day Shipping: If we receive your order for in-stock items by 12:00 pm EST Monday through Friday, your order will ship that same day, Guaranteed!
  • Responsive Customer Service: We endeavor to respond to all customer service inquiries within a few hours of receiving your email. We also currently offer phone support and live chat.
  • Competitive Pricing & Shipping: Our prices are consistently competitive and often times lower than our competitors.

TheHeroZone.com may have just hit the online scene but The Hero Zone has a rich history operated by people as colorful as the comics they sell. The Hero Zone was originally a hobby retail store located in downtown Sandusky, OH. We were started up by a hobby retail veteran, David Baum.

In 2006 two young students from Bowling Green State University met with Baum in order to begin the opening of a LAN /Gaming Retail store by the BGSU campus. These two young aspiring entrepreneurs were: Pop Culture Major; Alex Merced, and History Graduate; Spencer Marugg. This new store became known as The Lounge and became one of the most talked about gaming locations in NW Ohio. At this point Baum, Merced, and Marugg all knew it was time to merge the two stores under the title of “The Gamers Lounge” to begin the catalyst of what hopes to be one of the most prolific chains of gaming stores in recent history.

After all this was set in motion the group did want The Hero Zone to fade away so they decided to take it online. In order to achieve this goal they brought in Rocco Mazza, a veteran in the Comic book industry. Who with help of a long time friend Matt Naegele designed TheHeroZone.com to be one of the most stylish and functional Online stores in the market. We are offering a new Community for consumers and fans alike.

The bottom line is, we love what we do and we hope you will enjoy every shopping experience you have with us.

QUOTES:

I have been a customer of yours at one of your other stores and have always been impressed with the service you have provided. It was a no brainer for me to try out your comic subscription service :) I got my first group of books from you today and couldn’t be happier with the price, delivery time or the condition. Thanks and keep up the great work.
