3-D Architecture Models Now a Click Away
3-D Architecture Models Now a Click AwaySweet Onion Creations to offer visualization services from its Bozeman officeBozeman, Montana — October 22, 2007 - Sweet Onion Creations announced today that it will be offering 3d architecture modeling services from its Bozeman headquarters via the company’s website (www.sweetonioncreations.com). Exact models of buildings or land features are automatically built from digital data using a corn starch like material and shipped anywhere in the US for showroom displays or design reviews. “With these new web-based tools we can now serve designers and architects across the country”, said cofounder, Jake Cook. “Most people struggle to understand blueprints or drawings and an architecture model really helps a client better grasp the land features and how the structure will look. With the whole order and approval process being online anybody can take advantage of these tools to better communicate with their clients via a mouse click.” The service Sweet Onion is offering is somewhat like a Kinko’s store for architects or developers. However, the final product is an actual 3D structure built off the architect’s digital file. These electronic files can be uploaded online and the final product is shipped directly to a firm’s office. Any building feature can be modeled down to about a fingernail’s thickness. Complicated land features can be accurately reproduced from survey data or even Google Earth. The project and architect’s name can be printed upon the model to brand it for presentations with clients or potential investors.
