Spoken word performing artist London Bridgez  releases new single “X”  produced by Boston’s own Deskbangah Productions.

The first collaboration with  R&B writer & vocalist Shey Butta.  Together they perfectly articulate the R&B potential of spoken word poetry.

“X”  is the story of two females who are connected by their relationship to one man. London tells the story of not having his full attention because he is ‘still caught up with his ex’. The Ex girlfriend portion is performed by Shey who admits she is till emotionally connected.  This is not a girl fight piece. It reveals the complex nature of emotions, expectations in past and present relationships. The joint rides words  easily over a melody telling a story that is passionate and honest.

London,  her   poetry Performances have included: -the Simmons College School of Social Work Stop the Violence Mic Night, Northeastern University’s "Beatless : A Poetry/Spoken Word Experience" 2006, MIT’s Chocolate City presents "ILL VIBES SPOKEN WORD EXPERIENCE" 2006. She has graced the stage of Somerville Arts Festival in Somerville MA and the Open Mic at Goodlife Bar’s Vodka Lounge in Boston MA. In Chicago she blessed her first Chi open mic at "The SPOT".

She is  supportive of the Chicago monthly womens showcase Laudanum and looks forward to visiting other venues who support her mix of poetry and music.
