Freelancers Making Offers Employers Can’t Refuse

ki work’s ‘ki-offer’ system now gives freelancers a unique opportunity to promote their services

ki work is a social utility designed to address the needs of online freelancers, helping them find sustainable high quality work from wherever they are, worldwide. How? By giving each freelancer the opportunity to create multiple "ki-offers" - focused snapshots of their online work skills and requirements, search optimized for buyers of online services. ki work proposes that their ki-offer system, combined with their trust and accreditation system, is set to revolutionize the world of online work and pave the way for any knowledge work to be done online.

So what’s the big deal?  Well, unlike a resume, a ki-offer displays concise details about the freelancer with relevance to a particular category of online work expertise. These details include the person’s specific skills, their industry, typical types of customer, previous clients, price and availability and their unique ’star features’ - immediately giving potential project buyers a quick and precise idea of the person’s relevancy to a particular project.

The ki-offer is also portable (or "sendable") across multiple web features and can easily be placed (embedded) in highly visible locations, such as email signatures, online profiles, resumes/cvs, blogs, forums, bookmarking sites, job boards, and many web 2.0 content-sharing sites. And very soon, according to the ki work development team, freelancers will also be able to spread these ki-offers around social networks such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Xing and Viadeo, rapidly reaching high numbers of relevant contacts along the way.

CEO Michael Wolff claims, ‘as far as we know, this is a totally unique feature. Until now, freelancers have only been able to advertise their services by uploading resumes or creating static profiles. The portable ki-offer totally changes the way people can access online work’.

Since ki work’s alpha launch in November, several ki-offers, such as these in Business Strategy Consulting and Web Application Development, are already reaching high numbers of views.

ki work is inviting freelancers to join for free and create up to three ki-offers. More information about ki-offers and ki work can be found on www.ki-work.com. For discussion about the potential of ki work, see the ki work Facebook group.
