No More Wasted Lives
Join the Lee County Humane Society for its annual No More Wasted Lives fund raiser.
Auburn, AL — December 2, 2007
- Beginning December 17, 2007, Lee County Humane Society Executive Director Heather Meadows will eat, sleep and live in a pet kennel to raise money for the shelter.
- The goal is to raise three dollars for each of the almost 7,000 animals that came through the shelter in 2007.
- Heather will not leave the kennel until the goal is met.
- All of the money will go directly into the Lee County Humane Society general fund that pays for utility bills, medical supplies and other necessities.
- Supporters can donate money by visiting Heather in her kennel next to Kroger at 300 Dean Road in Auburn.
- Donations can also be brought in or mailed to the shelter at 1140 Ware Drive in Auburn.
