DARYN KAGAN PROFILES RWANDA PARTNERS FOUNDER TRACY STONE

Former CNN Anchor Daryn Kagan Shares Tracy Stone’s Story on DarynKagan.com Through Filmmaker Mark Standal’s “Rwanda: Journey Out of Fear”

www.DarynKagan.com presents a profile of Tracy Stone, founder of Rwanda Partners, a group committed to partnering with Rwandan men and women who are seeking to make a tangible difference in the lives of their countrymen and women. With the help of Peabody and Emmy Award-winning veteran filmmaker Mark Stendal, Daryn shows how Stone is making a difference in the lives of thousands in Rwanda.

Rwanda: Journey Out of Fear" is a film by Mark Stendal that documents the story of Tracy Stone, a mother of two, who was trying to deal with an unexpected divorce in 1994. In the midst of her own personal turmoil, Stone was inspired by the survival stories of widows coming out in the aftermath of Rwanda’s genocide. She decided to travel to Rwanda to meet these inspirational women, and discovered not only healing for her own pain, but a determination to come alongside the Rwandan people in the midst of their pain as well. After returning to the U.S., Stone quit her job and launched Rwanda Partners, a group committed to partnering with Rwandans in order to bring about healing this once devastated nation.
