an exercise in controlling your urge to buy each of them a drink. Make
that several drinks. The young 30 something start up entrepreneurs
definitely define the term "hard work." When the idea of insidehouston.net
was originally thought up, it was simply going to be a small local
resource for Houston area businesses. But with the young appearance of the
site and 1000+ unique visitors a day, insidehouston.net has become an
on-line juggernaut in the world of local directories.
Inside Houston has over 150 categories that consumers can browse
through which include accountants, beauty & fitness, dentists, food &
lodging, physicians, apartment locator’s, and many more including sub
categories that meet a specific need. When asked how big Inside Houston is
projected to grow, CEO and Creative Director William Cormier replied "It
all depends on how far small businesses in the area take it. Houston is a
city that’s growing fast and I’m excited about the possibilities for
Inside Houston."
Binal and Ana Shah are both daughters of parents that
have owned and operated several small businesses in the Houston area and
they know the importance of marketing. "We grew up with parents that
were constantly working on growing their small business. They owned a
video store in the west Houston area and they always tried to find an
edge to beat out the competition. The Internet has created opportunities
for many small businesses to find that edge," says Ana Shah.
Inside Houston has a uniqueness about it. It’s not like every billion
or so local directories that exist on the net. When asked what was
unique about Inside Houston, Binal Shah, Administrative Director and small business
owner of Box It Mailing and Shipping Services said, "We not only list our companies on
the site, we also customize their company pages and send out weekly
newsletters promoting our listed companies to thousands of local Houston
consumers and potential customers. Being a small business owner myself, I know how important public relations can be. Trying to compete with
corporate giants without costing an arm and a leg is difficult, and that’s why we thought of Inside Houston."
Keep on the look out Houston, Texas! InsideHouston.net is taking over
the net-waves and is ready to help make your small business grow.
