RE/MAX EQUITY GROUP HONORED AT REGIONAL AWARDS
RE/MAX equity group inc. and its agents received multiple honors at the annual Pacific Northwest Regional Awards Luncheon hosted by RE/MAX International, held at the Portland Marriot Downtown Waterfront.

RE/MAX equity group inc. and its agents received multiple honors at the annual Pacific Northwest Regional Awards Luncheon hosted by RE/MAX International, held at the Portland Marriot Downtown Waterfront.
RE/MAX equity group, which has offices throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington, received the Multi-Office Volume Award for closing over 4 billion dollars in sales during 2007. RE/MAX equity group president Jim Homolka accepted the award on behalf of all of the company’s brokers and agents.
Shar Giard of the Gresham and Vancouver Mall offices was recognized with the “Above the Crowd” award. The award is given to agents/brokers that display: community citizenship, dedication to RE/MAX, and support of special causes. Giard is involved with her church and local school board and serves as chairperson of The Equity Group Foundation.
Terrie Cox from the equity group’s Vancouver Mall office received honors for being the top individual agent in the Pacific Northwest region. This honor is given to the agent with the largest individual (non-team) earned commission for the previous year.
Margaret Deveraux, from the Hillsboro branch, was named the top Individual broker in the state of Oregon. Equity Group agents Jim Nickila (# 3), Tim Walters (# 4), TC Cairns (# 5), Jesus Gomez (# 7), Cathy Cover (# 9), and Judy Close (#10) were also named.
Lake Oswego’s Mary-Jo Avery and her team were named as the Number 2 top commissioned broker team in the state of Oregon, and No. 5 in the entire Pacific Northwest Region. Equity Group teams listed in the top ten broker teams in the state of Oregon included: The Craig Evans team (No. 3) and The Don Madsen team (No. 4) both out of the Salem Business Center, The Clint Currin team (No. 5), The Don Johnson team (No. 7) and The Joelle Lewis team (No.8).
Avery and Victor Smith of Salem Business Center were recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Award which is given to individuals who have earned $3 million dollars in a minimum of seven years of service with RE/MAX.
Broker of the Year and Rookie of the Year Awards Also Given
The East Metro Association of REALTORS® in Gresham gave its annual Realtor of the Year honors to John Van Loo 2008. Van Loo has over 25 years of experience in the real estate field and is the 2008 chairmen of the RMLS Board of Directors.
Brandon Rossman, Washington Sales associate and Oregon Broker, received the honor for EMAR’s Rookie of the Year. In his first 12 months with RE/MAX, Rossman closed 20 transactions with a volume of $5.7 million.
